POS Transaction Security Using Dual Authentication without PIN

Abstract


Credit card fraud is one of the considerable issues. We had come across various loses in digital revenue in our day to day life. Credit card information should be hidden.  Hidden cameras at merchant location are common, for many security purposes. Card and PIN at Point Of Sale breaches the security of PIN when used in crowded merchant payment location .PIN is mandatory to authenticate the digital transaction at POS. There may be many solutions suggested by researchers of this kind. In this paper author propose a dual authentication without sharing his PIN. This approach protects the user from shoulder-surfers and partial observation attacks.
